Chip Kidd is a writer and designer in New York City, and an avid collector of superhero art and memorabilia. His books include: Batman Collected, Batman Animated, Peanuts: The Art of Charles M. Schulz, Mythology: The DC Comics Art of Alex Ross, Bat-Manga: The Secret History of Batman in Japan, and Shazam! The Golden Age of Captain Marvel. His first original full-length Batman graphic novel, Batman: Death by Design, with art by Dave Taylor, will be released by DC Comics in 2012.
