7.25x11.5x2.25" deep illustrated cardboard display box contains 9.5" tall vacuform plastic Spider-Man figure w/plastic hand control. Made in Italy by Cosmec, ©1980 Marvel Comics Group. Spider-Man figure was connected to hand control w/string and was designed to be swung out in circles, thus achieving "flight." Figure then returned to user as string retracted. Given the fragile nature of the material used to make this toy, it is unlikely many survived use. As this toy remains sealed in box, toy remains NM, old store stock. Box features nice illustration of toy in use on reverse and left/right side panels feature Spider-Man in battle w/The Punisher. One corner has 2.25" split and box has scattered edge/corner wear. Fine/VF. Scarce.
