Item Description
8.5x11" catalogs from 1963 and 1964, 10.5x13" 1963 (The New York Times Supplement). 1963 features the first Movie Monsters line with the first five kits as well as a "Warning, Don't Turn This Page" on the previous section before you see the monsters. They used actual photos of the built kits instead of the box art. The 1963 "The New York Times Supplement" is printed on news stock and has the same cover as the 1964 catalog. It shows the various types of items Aurora sells with more of an investor slant to it, showing company growth. 1964 features The Monsters with King Kong and The Guillotine artwork. All catalogs feature the classic kits of planes, ships, automobiles and animals. 1963 catalog has slt. handling wear and displays Exc, NY Times insert has some edge chips and slt. brittle pages grading VG and 1964 has lt. wear and is also Exc. Great images throughout of classic box art.
