Item Description
7-5/8x19.5" craft tint artboard has three panel original art for strip #8166 from Feb. 18, 1965. Art by Wayne Boring, see previous item #1777. Superman's alter ego Clark Kent appears in all three panels in jail uniform (as seen in previous item #1778 which features same storyline), being approached by warden. Boring has not signed Superman art on front, but it was done by him. Back has two panel pencil art for "The Awful World Of Ticker Tynn" w/inked title/text. Art features futuristic crowd celebrating and has been signed by Boring in last panel. Artboard has some lt. handling wear and aging to tint areas. Vertical crease through second Superman panel w/some aging at margins. Art displays VF. Great double-sided Boring art.
