11.25x14" 96-page book by Whitman, ©1936 King Features Syndicate Inc. Nice cover art is repeated front and back. Contents are mostly bw pictures to be colored although title page and seven example pages have illustrations in red/green. Characters featured include - Flash Gordon, Aura, Lion Men, Prince Barin, "Armored Men" wearing suits that resemble robots, Ming the Merciless, Dale Arden, Dr. Zarkov, Vultan and the Hawkmen as well as various ships. Two pages have been neatly colored w/third page having partial neat coloring. Rest remains unused. Front cover has moderate dust soiling/aging while back cover remains clean w/minor creasing and .75" margin tear. 1" spine split at top. Fine overall. Early and scarce.
