Item Description
Art boards range in size from 11.25x13.5” to 11.5x14-5/8” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed at bottom of images. Art is for Harvey Publications "Sad Sack" comics #120 Aug. 1961, #125 Jan. 1962, #126 Feb. 1962, and #134 Oct. 1962. Scenes include: Sad Sack snoozing w/birds in nest on his camouflaged helmet, watching Sarge walk on newly cut railroad boards, carrying leaking motor oil drum as Sarge falls down, cleaning window which breaks on Sarge’s face. Muttsy the dog is on three covers. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
