Item Description
8x10" sheet w/re-touched bw photo image of Brace Beemer portraying The Lone Ranger. Issued as a premium by "Michigan Radio Network" as noted by small text at lower left. 1933. Photo was taken at Beemer's famous Belle Isle, MI. appearance, marking the first time The Lone Ranger had ever appeared in person. The original photo showed a huge crowd of kids, trees and police officers, but for this, they were removed and replaced w/this outdoor scene. A mask was also painted on, covering the lower half of Beemer's face (at this time, they still hadn't quite figured out The Lone Ranger's look). Evenly aged w/lt. margin wear including a few tiny tears, but o/w VF.
