Item Description
10.5x12.5" sheet of animation paper has boxed, central image area measuring 3.5x3.75". Done in lead pencil, art depicts Barney Rubble dressed in drag as his wife Betty and Fred Flintstone dressed in drag as his wife Wilma. This production drawing was used for Episode 25 of "The Flintstones," a first season episode that first aired March 17, 1961. In the episode, titled "In The Dough," Fred and Barney dress in drag so they can enter a baking contest in place of their wives, who have come down ill and are unable to attend. While main art image is primarily in lead pencil, a few red pencil accents have been added. Image area has been framed in red pencil as well and each corner has production centering marks. Lower margin has production notations noting this as "Sc. 174" as well as production inkstamp at bottom center. Sheet has trace of aging/corner tip wear but displays Exc.
