10.25" tall very heavy (nearly 5 lbs.) solid white metal figure casting w/silver finish depicts Superman in classic pose w/hands on hips. Base has a hollow opening visible when piece is turned over. Depicts Superman, although rather than the "S" chest emblem this has "30" cast into the chest logo, which is o/w unmarked. The "30" may indicate an anniversary, if so, Superman's 30th Anniversary was in 1968. The front center area of base is recessed and likely for some type of award name plaque. Figure has nicely detailed face complete w/spitcurl on forehead and costume design includes cape on back as if blowing in the wind. This is only the third example we've seen and both were w/o any symbol on chest (one silver like this example, the other bronze). Scattered aging to metal surface, VF overall.
