Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains two-piece tin litho toy, which when assembled, stands 13.75" tall. Made in Japan by Alps, 1950s. Box features great graphics of carnival attraction, w/clown and children looking on as Rocket Ride zooms around. Scarce variety w/Coney Island text. Lid is aged w/some corner creases and a .5" puncture on clown but o/w box remains tight and Fine. Toy works, arm unit moves up and down as it turns and Rocket cars revolve in their holders and small lightbulbs on cars light. Toy has some lt. aging and a few small scattered nicks but is o/w Exc.
