Item Description
Original box w/illustrated lid contains tin litho toy w/built-in key. Made in Japan by T.P.S., 1960s. Box features great space scene on top w/additional image of the "Satellite Fleet" on two side panels. Box has lt. handling wear/aging w/staple oxidation as well as .25" and 5" tears to lid edges. Fine/VF. Toy has overall size of 3x12x3.5" tall to the top of the radar antenna. The large lead ship has the letter "X" on roof and spaceman driver is visible behind steering wheel. The three attached saucers are in same design but different color schemes and each has image of spaceman in window. Toy works and travels around w/saucers zig-zagging and rotating as they follow the lead ship. One wheel to trailer saucers has repair. Slight kink to antenna spring. Minute scattered paint nicks as produced. VF.
