4-7/8x20.75” thin art board has 4.75x19.75” India ink image area w/four panels for Sept. 5. Moon and stereotypical Mushmouth run into each other at fair and decide to get a hamburger. Moon asks about Mushmouth’s vaudeville trained pigeon act and why they aren’t at the fair. Mushmouth explains “ Well, To Tell Yo’ De Truth, Mistah Moon- Ah Had To Eat De Act”. Artist-creator Frank Willard has signed the last panel “Willard” in ink near remaining portion of Chicago-Tribune copyright sticker. Blank top margin edge is trimmed to borderline of art, trace of lt. dust soil. Art board is cut between center panels neatly taped in place on reverse. Image area VF.
