8.25x11.75" promo catalog unfolds to 11.75x24.75" and features Batman and Robin (Alias Peter) in "Who's Out To Murder Batman?" story which involves Robin disguising himself as boy named Peter. Batman takes Robin to UK boys' clothing store "Orange Hand" where they go shopping to get Robin a disguise. 1970. Promo item also features photos of eight different outfits modeled by boys in addition to the 15-panel comic strip which is mostly bw w/exception of front page and Robin in disguise images. Batman appears in total of seven panels. One page doubles as an order form for outfits. DC Comics approved this use of Batman, giving rise to a most unusual Batman item. Scattered handling wear/aging, VF/Exc. overall. A very different item for the Batman collector. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
