Item Description
Jimmy Wang Yu is a Chinese actor, film director, producer and screenwriter who rose to fame in 1967 w/his starring role in Shaw Brothers Studio's "One-Armed Swordsman." "The Chinese Boxer" (1969), another film he acted in, is credited as the first Hong Kong action film that kickstarted the Kung-Fu genre that took audiences by storm in the 1970s. This extensive German promotional set for the 1973 martial arts film "Ten Fingers Of Steel" includes original mailing envelope w/German text and large "Wang Yu" name. Envelope contains 14 glossy 9.25x11.75" paper lobby cards, three of which are text only (likely for theater use). Envelope also contains 11.75x18.75" glossy window card featuring dynamic image of Wang Yu about to strike. Exc. Lobby cards have some lt. handling wear but are VF-Exc. overall. Envelope shows lt. wear w/creases along edges and is VF. Interesting and extensive film promotion.
