Item Description
Pair of 12.5" tall (to top of bulb sockets) painted plaster lamps. "Prince David" name on front of base w/"Princess Glory" name on reverse. Back of bases read "©1939 Paramount Pic Inc - Mfd. Exclusively By Ivon Bear Inc." Felt covers on underside of bases (Princess Glory's a bit loose). Glossy finish has crazing visible under close inspection. Working, both have original sockets. Prince David has been rewired. Princess Glory has original cord w/fraying to outer silk wrapping. Should be rewired. Both have scattered tiny paint nicks and plaster flakes on noses and raised areas, more prominent on Princess. Prince is VG/Fine. Princess has scattered crazing to dress and some moderate flakes to dress hemline. Good/VG. This is the first example of the Princess lamp we've offered in our 47 years.
