Item Description
12x14.5" cardboard divider for use in record shops to advertise The Beatles' second album released in the US. Released on Jan. 20, 1964, it was the first Capitol Records Beatles album, issued in both mono/stereo. Capitol is a sister company to Parlophone, the Beatles' British label, both are subsidiaries of EMI. Top of divider has large "Beatles!" text w/Capitol Records logo forming the dot to the exclamation point. Rest of divider shows the cover to the "Meet The Beatles!" album, w/the false "First Album" claim that also appeared on the album's cover. This was one of two bin dividers produced during the 1960s to promote a Beatles album. Divider shows wear from use w/several creases and color rubs as well as corner tip wear/aging to top corners. Reverse has penciled text and five 1" areas of tape staining/tape remnants at corners and center. VG. Scarce. The perfect item to display along w/your Beatles LPs.
