Item Description
39x62" die-cut cardboard display standee shows Roy Rogers in full cowboy costume, pointing his guns in the air. Display was used to advertise simple rope lariat tied in a design to facilitate easy rodeo lasso tricks. Lareo Co., Inc. c. mid-1950s. Block on Roy's stomach has illustrations of the product and its various uses. Display has double easel back, which have had strip of cardboard reinforcements stapled to easels. Creases at elbows and neck. Scattered edge wear, w/a few flakes and color rubs. Upper half appears to have a slight fade, but still an incredible display. VG. Among the best ever created for any Western hero product. Rare and the first we've offered in our 46 years.
