Item Description
Identical to the figurines produced by American Pottery/Shaw (see previous item #2097) although each of these is in smaller size, 4" to 4.5" tall. Also painted and glazed ceramic w/red over-the-glaze paint accents on Joe Carioca and Panchito. 1940s. Each has incised "Mexico" and Disney copyright text on backs, similar ink stamp marks on underside. Donald has complete Shaw foil sticker on back. Donald has moderate crazing w/.25" sliver of glaze off back. Still displays VF. Others have moderate wear to red accents and are o/w Exc.
