Pair of boxed sets by Halsam. 1930s. First is 2x8.5x.5" deep thin cardboard box containing domino set. Lid has graphics of Mickey running after Pluto who knocks down row of dominoes. Lid has moderate aging/dust soiling and scattered edge wear. VG/Fine. Contains full set of 28 wood dominoes, each w/relief Mickey images on front and multi-colored dots on reverse. Dominoes are Exc. Second is 5.5x9x1.75" deep colorful box that contains complete set of 15 wood blocks. Halsam originally produced eight different boxed sets containing different amounts of blocks per set. Box art includes illustrations of images on the blocks. Box has scattered wear and aging w/1.25" tear to side panel (w/tape repair). Surface paper has some flakes off along edges. Fine. Each block is 1.75" square w/front and back sides of each have raised character image including a number of different poses of Mickey as well as several of Minnie and Pluto plus one of Horace Horsecollar. Blocks are Exc. overall.
