Item Description
c. 1960s. All feature Meredith and bitter rivals the New York Giants. Unsigned art is India ink on vellum sheets ranging in size from 4.25x5” to 6.25x7.25”. Each sheet is glued on art board. Includes Meredith holding sledge hammer and team mates w/maces, Meredith carrying injured player over his shoulder, Meredith being buried alive w/”RIP Dandy Don” tombstone. Vellum sheets are tanned from reverse side glue. Fine. Meredith’s columns had to do w/events that occurred during his playing career as quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Expressive art.
