Other than a few Cartier pieces circa 1940, this is the highest quality piece of Disney jewelry we've seen. The vertical oval is 1-1/8" wide by 1-3/8" tall plus there is a top loop holding a moveable spade shaped loop for a neck chain to pass through. Reverse of the piece is highly domed with tiny text "©Disney 14K." Front has an oval separate outer frame containing 31 diamonds. Inside the frame the metal is deeply concave. A burst of engraved fireworks explosions are accented by four additional diamonds. The firework designs surround an almost fully 3-D tiny replica of the castle with two tall spires and four smaller individual turrets. The thin base plate below the castle is again marked on the underside "©Disney 14K." Each diamond is about .01ct. so the total weight is about 0.33ct. The pendant weighs 11.2 grams (0.39 oz.) Circa late 1980s. A spectacular piece and in Mint condition.
