Item Description
1.75” with W&H paper. Bit of surface paper off the left side but all the text remains. Front of the piece has a great scene of longhorn steer with three miniature court jesters perched on the horns and holding a sign reading “Street Fair.” Additional text reads “Big Week/Big Parades/Illuminated Streets.” Item is dated for six days in September 1899. Outer yellow rim edge is about 50% covered with narrow line of age stain. There is almost no stain in the design area with exception of a couple of exceedingly faint dots below the steer’s head. Still with gorgeous color and full gloss. Only about the fourth we’ve seen. Also see Ft. Worth Railroad button #653. Rare.
