Item Description
Sizes are 1-5/8” to 4.5”. First three pieces have the same design and the first two enclose an identical brass medal. First has hanger reading “U.S. Army.” Second has lost its silver luster on the front and has hairline crack on lower edge but still displays cleanly with “Souvenir” on the hanger. Third also reads “Souvenir” on the hanger but pictures a soldier rather than a ship. First in row two is keystone design showing seal of the state of Pennsylvania. Ribbon is dated for June 1907 with second ribbon reading “35th Annual Outing.” Next in row two is a white metal fob showing military symbols. At center, but loose, is brass medallion with U.S. eagle on the front and ship on reverse captioned “Virginia.” Back of the metal frame has Jamestown name and date. Next in row two has hanger bar reading “23rd U.S. Infantry.” Suspended below is uni-face medal showing soldiers and “Main Auditorium.” Last is badge with worn ribbon holding medal showing Indian on front and ship on reverse. Some tarnish. Except as noted items are Exc. to Mint. Numerous rarities.
