Item Description
First is 8.5" tall with text "Guest/Parade And Muster Of The Fire Department At Haverhill, Mass. Oct. 8, 1896." At center is 1.75" celluloid of fireman rescuing baby from burning building. Ribbon below this has some tan spotting. There are also a pair splits. One of these is 1.75" below the word "Guest" and the other .75" above the word "Department." Both have a neatly applied piece of archival paper tape on the reverse so that the splits barely show. Back of the piece has lightly worn large label by maker W&H. Second piece has "Pittsburgh Delegation" hanger. Text below for "Oil City, Pa. October 5-6-7-8, 1909." Below this is shield frame holding real photo celluloid of firemen in dress uniform. The fabric above once had a piece mounted across its center on a diagonal but this is gone leaving some glue stain. Just a little additional wear on the rest of the ribbon. Pair.
