Item Description
Flat oval 2-3/16” wide with die-cut flag at top comprised of a decal on brass. Below in two shades of brass luster is the Republican elephant at a pump which is spewing forth money represented by tiny coin-like circles and a dollar sign. Bottom edge reads “Copyright 1939 M.C. Kohler.” Couple of small scratches on the brass but still with vast majority of luster and decal. Reverse had small riveted on tab but stem broke off so the piece can’t be worn as is. Apparently produced in 1939 in advance of Willkie’s 1940 nomination. Very Fine and unusual.
