Item Description
c. 1920s. Made by Kalasign. 19.25x29.25” heavy cardboard silkscreen easel back sign has choice graphics of waiter on ship deck w/“Cloverdale” life preserver carrying tray and ”Cloverdale” bottle. Lower left has “EBT” designer’s initials. Reverse side has portion of Kalasign sticker still attached, including Jan. 1918 patent date. Front has intricate grid pattern lightly drawn in pencil w/product names crossed out and “Limes & Lithia” penciled in. Likely done by art staff for a work in progress mock-up for future sign design. Still bright and Fine appearance. High quality printing process resembling original art.
