Item Description
13.5x22" cardboard sign for hockey school set up by hockey greats Gordie Howe and Bill Gadsby. Both members of the Hockey Hall of Fame, they were teammates w/the Detroit Red Wings for five seasons. Sign shows them as well as Howe's sons Mark and Marty Howe, both who later went on to play professional hockey. Another child is shown, the Howe boys and this boy wear "Gadsby-Howe Hockey Schools" jerseys. c. late 1960s. Sign has lt. handling w/some corner tip wear. VF/Exc. Comes w/bonus of a cereal box cut-out featuring an ad for the school.
