Item Description
4.25" wide oyster shell joined together w/metal hinge at shell's natural hinge. c. 1890s. Transfer image on one side of shell shows scene of Victorian era Atlantic City Boardwalk w/text above. 1/8x.5" chip to shell back edge. A few tiny scattered flakes to aged transfer, but purse still displays Fine. Interior has been lined w/oilcloth like material and has accordion pockets. Neatly designed souvenir item.
