Item Description
22x28.25" cardboard Globe poster for Mar. 11, 1962 "Gala Twisterama" concert at the Overlea Hall in Baltimore, MD. Ronnie Dove and The Beltones formed in 1959, and disbanded in 1963, the year after this concert. The poster features photo images of Dove and The Beltones as well as supporting act The Van Dykes. Other performers listed include - Calvin plus Al & Bo, Sonny Velvet and His Twistclicks and Carl Evans and The Sentries. The poster also announces a Twist contest to be judged by local radio personalities. Even aging w/pinholes at corners and lt. margin wear. Fine.
