Page five from issue #31 June-July 1953 story “One Good Turn Deserves Another.” 15x22” thin art board has 13x18” India ink image area with seven panels. Storyline has woman thinking her mission in life is to help old people in need by killing them. She pushes a man in front of a truck on a rainy night, pushes a grieving woman off a pier and watches her drown, and is ready to suffocate a bed ridden man in the last panel. Blank margins have editorial notes, bottom edge has comic book title ink stamp, reverse side has publisher William M. Gaines copyright ink stamp. Art image area in panel three is a neat original art replacement taped in place on reverse, portion of press type lettering in panel four has a few glue stains. Image area otherwise Near Exc. Superb ink work by “Ghastly” Graham Ingels, the legendary master of pre-code horror comics.
