Item Description
c. 1972 pair of silver flashed plastic cases 6.5x7-1/8x3.5" deep with clear fronts. Inside are slightly dimensional plastic full figures of Nixon and Agnew which have been jointed with segmented legs. Reverses have built-in key and small start/stop rod. When operating, the chorus line musical tune "Can-Can" plays and the figures bounce up and down with a bit of noise as if from their feet tapping on mirror-like floor. Light aging on the thinly silvered exterior surfaces, mainly from air oxidation. In perfect working order. Overall VF. Quite a humorous performance. A scarce pair of satirical novelties issued around the time of their successful 1972 re-election.
