Item Description
8.5" long tin litho w/built-in key. Car is marked in front of windshield "Uncle Wiggily - Trademark ©1935 Howard R. Garis." Uncle Wiggily depicted holding basket full of eggs. Egg images also appear on trunk and hood. Sides of car feature animals drawn in the style of the Uncle Wiggily books. Embossed "Marx" logo on front of hood. Toy works and travels around in erratic fashion as Uncle Wiggily's head turns about and every now and then car rears up and back down again. Wear on wheels from use and lightly faded. A very few scattered hairline scratches/nicks. Fine. Beautifully lithographed toy.
