Item Description
5 3/8x7 3/8" on stiff paper. ©1948 National Comics Publications Inc. Several varieties/versions were issued over the years from about 1942 to 1973. Comics in ad are from 1947-48. Choice Superman illustration with simulated wood border has facsimile "Best Wishes From Your Friend Superman" inscription. Reverse has bw advertising "World's Finest Comics #33, Superman #53, Action Comics #115." Exc. Interesting to note that the cover to Superman #53 obviously differs from printed comic in that it is missing image of exploding Krypton with text "Featuring The Origin Of Superman".
