Item Description
Each is approx. 3.75x6". Are c. 1930s. Titles and storylines are: "Dear Elsie" with first half storyline involving Elsie pages captioned with a letter from Tillie illustrated with her sexual exploits and second half is devoted to individual gags. Next is "The Jazzville News" with design similar to newspaper format with humorous captioned sexual exploits. Next is "The Traveling Salesman and The Farmer's Daughter" with stiff paper pages printed on yellow or blue stock with some red accent color. Storyline has traveling salesman's car getting broken down and winding up at farmer's house and sleeping with daughter. Next is "The Professor" designed as a manual by Professor Rustyball giving illustrated sexual advice. Last title is "She Fell For 'Em - And They Let Her Lay" with pages printed in blue and storyline of country farm girl learning about sex. First title has contents pulled loose from cover staple area and some cover dust soil. VG+. Other titles have trace of dust soil here and there but overall Fine/VF. Well drawn throughout including several scarce titles and interesting printing formats. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
