The following are all addressed to York, PA newsman Harry McLaughlin, a personal friend of Richard Nixon. Many are on "The White House" stationery either 6.25x9.25" or 8x10.5". All have mailing folds but otherwise clean condition. Most are thank you's for photos, notes or articles. Group begins with two items from Melvin Laird as Congressman around election day 1968. Rest are in date order. Number one photo 5x7" signed by Laird to McLaughlin, small edge wear. Taken in Hazelton, PA. Number two Laird letter 11/7/68 thanks for Nixon campaign photos. Number three Herbert Klein, Director of Communication on "Office Of President Elect" stationery thanking McLaughlin for "Your Willingness To Serve In The Nixon Administration." Number four Bob Haldeman color 3.5x5" snapshot outdoors from 1969 Inaugural Day. Number five Bob Haldeman 2/28/69 thank you for photo. Number six Bob Haldeman b/w snapshot 3.5x5" likely from Inaugural Day 1973. Number seven Bob Haldeman signed 1973 Inaugural ceremonies program.
