Item Description
One size fits all rwb polyester hat with text “Go Ahead Make My Day” with art image of hand holding smoking gun and has vertical fiber-tip marker signature at left of gun “Clint Eastwood”. c.1983 and comes with 4x12" “Make My Day” day glow bumper sticker. Third item is 11x14" stiff paper lobby card for “Any Which Way You Can” ©1980 Warner Brothers with nice photo of angry Eastwood. Credits include “Music Supervision Snuff Garrett”. Bumper sticker has lt. dust soil, otherwise all three items are Exc. “Go Ahead, Make My Day” is a catch phrase written by Joseph C. Stinson and spoken by the character Harry Callahan portrayed by Eastwood in “Sudden Impact”. In 2005, it was chosen as #six on the American Film Institute List “AFIs 100 Years-100 Movie Quotes”. Dirty Harry was a critical and commercial success and set the style for a whole genre of police films. The film "Any Which Way You Can" was followed by four sequels including Sudden Impact in 1983. Boldly signed hat was obtained by and from the Collection of Snuff Garrett, renowned record producer and owner of Nostalgia Merchant and comes with COA signed by Snuff and Ted Hake. An nice grouping of Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry related items.
