Item Description
c. 1950. Made by Tigrett Enterprises Chicago. 6x10x1.75" thin cardboard box with young boy dressed in dark Hoppy-like clothes with steer tie-slide shooting gun. Text at lower right "First New Invention in Toy Guns in 50 Years!". Underside has directions for assembly along with re-order blank to order more paper rolls to use with gun and target. Box is NM. 9" long plastic gun with 1.5" diameter barrel holds rolled up paper with repeat pattern of Hoppy-like generic cowboy with rifle. Gun is spring loaded and when spring is released, the rolled paper shoots out at an estimated 24" in a cone shape. Handle has nice relief image of cowboy on bucking bronco. Zoomerang paper roll is still in gun sealed with original "Zoomerang" strip of tape as issued. Gun and roll are Mint. This version in our experience is scarcer than Hoppy licensed version. Wonderful design.
