Four issues, all for Philadelphia region. September 25, 1953 issue is 5x8.25" with cover article devoted to Superman with nice front cover photo of George Reeves as Clark Kent with Reeves as Superman flying above. Contains three page article, “How They Make Superman Fly” including images of Reeves dressed as Superman with Jack Larson, cameraman, director, and Whitney Ellsworth producer. Issue also includes Jack Benny and George Burns in Hawaii, Bob & Ray and regional listings include full page photo devoted to 1953 World Series between Brooklyn and New York with photos of Mantle, Berra, Campanella & others. Covers have lt. aging and tiny bit of wear around extreme edges, listing pages are a bit tanned with age. Fine. Next three issues are each 5 1/8x7 3/8". Page count ranges from 28 to 30 not counting local listings. Issue #409 for January 28, 1961 features Ronnie Howard and Andy Griffith cover article along with article on “Cocky Bobby Darin”, issue #502 for November 10, 1962 has cover article showing four main cast members of the Beverly Hillbillies and includes article on Buddy Ebsen, issue #641 for July 10, 1965 has cover article on the Munsters with Yvonne DeCarlo and Fred Gwynne with article “A New Face For Fred Gwynne”. Beverly Hillbillies issue has a few age spots here and there on front cover, otherwise last three issues are VF. All are without mailing labels. An instant collection of classics.
