18 items total. Fanzines are each 5.5x8.5" and all have full color front covers and seven of the eight have full color back covers Issues are approximately 40 pages which include collectors ads. 1970 issues include #30, #33, #37. 1971 issues include #45, #48. Next is #63 from 1972 and #67 and #70 from 1973. #33 has nice bw back cover by Jeff Jones and #37 has superb front cover painting by David (Dave) Cockrum, #48 has color back cover by Robert Barrett, and #70 has color back cover of Roy Krenkel jacket design for Howard book “The Sowers Of The Thunder”. Trace of lt. cover dust soil here and there but overall group is Fine/VF. Covers all facets of Burroughs writing with nice illustrations throughout. Canaveral Press Books are 5.5x8.25" hard cover with page count ranging from 188 to 384. Dates and titles are: 1962 "The Fighting Men Of Mars" & "The Monster Men", 1963 "Back To The Stone Age", 1964 "The Lad And The Lion", 1974 "Tarzan And The Madman", "Escape On Venus", "The Gods Of Mars", "Pirates Of Venus", "The Cave Girl." 1975 "The Moon Men." Illustrators include Mahlon Blaine, John Coleman Burroughs, Reed Crandall, Larry Ivie, J. Allen St. John, Roy Krenkel. A Fighting Man of Mars and Back To The Stone Age titles each have clipped dust jacket on inside front upper right. Back To The Stone title has “Withdrawn” ink stamp on blank inside front cover and blank last page. Dust jackets have trace of lt. dust soil here and there with a few tiny creases around extreme edges. Overall dust jackets are VG/Fine+. Books are VF/Exc. Limited distribution. Canaveral Press was active from the early 1960s throuth the mid-1970s. Richard Lupoff was the editor for publishers Jack Biblo and Jack Tannen. The name was based on the space operations at Cape Canaveral, Fla and they were on good terms with the Burroughs heirs. A nice group of scarce titles.
