Item Description
First is 5" tall die-cut cardboard "College Colors Doll" issued by the J. L. Prescott Co. makers of Enameline stove polish. From a c. 1890 set. This is for Harvard and features boy on bicycle. Folded as designed so it stands-up, inside has product info. Tack hole at top/bottom center. Dust soiling. Fine. Next are 37 different 2x2.5" leathers from the early 1900s. Two have college pennants of Wooster and Holy Cross, all others have college seal. Most have seal stamped in the leather, some w/gold or silver highlight. Colleges include: Kansas, Columbia, Texas, Rutgers, Virginia, Ohio, North Western, Annapolis, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Chicago, Yale, Drake, Syracuse, Oregon, Maine, Wooster, Baylor, Oklahoma, Denver and Colorado Seminary, Colby, Harvard, De Pauw, Mississippi, Vermont, Wyoming and Stevens. Scattered aging. Fine to VF overall.
