Item Description
This is the first totally complete example of this Ovaltine, 1942 premium we've been able to offer. The mailer is 3.75x5-5/8" with just some small creases and totally clean. The folder titled "The Story Of The United States Marines By Captain Midnight" is 3.25x5.5" and opens to 5.5x9.75". This pictures the ring and has many interesting facts about the Marine Corps. The back panel is a folder that carries Capt. Midnight's facsimile signature. Inserted with the package was a very rarely seen coupon "Good For Pilot's Wings Badge When Accompanied By One Ovaltine Seal And 10¢ in coin. This coupon is addressed to Capt. Midnight on the order form side and pictures and describes the "24-Karat Gold-Finished Pilot's Badge" on the opposite side. Finally is the ring itself with the Marine Corps emblem on the top. The brass ring has adjustable bands and is in essentially flawless brilliant brass luster like the day it was made. From the Joe Gura Premium Collection. Exceedingly rare in this complete and outstanding condition.
