Item Description
All items are related to the appearances at Jules Podell’s Copacabana Nightclub. All are c.1969-1970. Includes American Guild of Variety Artists contract signed by Jules Podell noting payment of $2,000 a week for two weeks, letter confirming salary signed in blue ballpoint pen by Lee Salomon noting salary and second letter from Salomon noting correct billing, typewritten letter signed by Manager Phil Strassberg noting only the Road Manager is authorized to sign tabs, typewritten letter on onionskin paper signed by Strassberg noting band members, unsigned copy of letter from Podell thanking group for their appearance, and carbon copy on onionskin paper signed in ink by Strassberg issued as addendum rider. Group also includes 8x10" bw glossy photo by James Kriegsmann showing the group, four page promo folder with them on the front cover and handwritten review in pencil, apparently written just for club owner. Some lt. creasing and aging here and there. Contract has horizontal fold through center with staple holes at upper left. Overall group is VG/VF.
