Item Description
All items relate to appearances at Jules Podell’s Copacabana Nightclub. Eight Frank Sinatra Jr. items include William Morrison Agency American Guild of Variety Artists Engagement Contract dated July 13, 1967 for two week engagement, seven days a week with two shows nightly with payment of $2500 per week. First and second page are each signed by Jules Podell and third page is signed by Podell and Sinatra’s attorney. Also includes pair of typewritten letters, one from 1967 and one from 1968 from lawyer noting breakdown of who pays what for musicians between Sinatra and the club. Comes with glossy photo of Sinatra and four page promo folder for his appearance with comedian Jack E. Leonard. The DeMarco Sisters group includes 1954 contract signed by Podell paying the five member group $1500 and a 1950 contract signed by Podell paying the five member group $1500 and 1950 contract signed by Anne DeMarco paying them $1250. Also includes 1951 contract letter agreement signed by Anne DeMarco and an 8x10" glossy publicity photo showing them singing at piano. Comes with illustrated four page folder c.1955 with them having billing rights under Frank Sinatra with his picture at top. Trace of lt. scattered wear, but VF+ appearance.
