Item Description
Vol. 1 No. 10. 8.5x11" with 28 mimeographed sheets printed on front side only and stapled together at spine. Front cover has nice art by Schenk with cartoon house in wooded setting with flowers on gate in foreground. Includes cartoons by animators Geller, Seeger, Foxx, Mondollo, Kaeppel, Getz, Tendlar, Coruin, Abbey, and Solomon. Full page images include Popeye stopping a train so Olive can walk her dog across tracks, Betty Boop in costume doing Indian dance and animator having nightmare about Popeye, Olive, Bluto and other characters with Betty Boop under his bed. Spine is missing top staple and middle staple is coming loose. Yellow front cover has bit of tanning around edges but issue is otherwise Exc. Extremely limited distribution just for studio employees. Nice graphics. See previous two lots #2068-69.
