Two items. Both feature King Features Syndicate comic strip characters. "Sing With King At Christmas" song folio is 8x11" with 16 pages copyright 1949. Wraparound covers feature 36 different characters against musical notes bkg including Phantom, Prince Valiant, Popeye, Donald Duck, Lone Ranger, Blondie & Dagwood, Jiggs & Maggie, Steve Canyon. Each page has specialty color art with Christmas carol music and lyrics. Includes Prince Valiant, Blondie & Dagwood, Popeye, Steve Canyon, Disney characters including Mickey, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox as well as Little King, Snuffy Smith, Popeye. Limited issue from KFS sent to newspaper comic page editors. A few lt. handling creases. Light color rubs along spine and trace of lt. dust soil. Fine/VF. Sheet music is 9x12" titled "I Love To Read The Funnies" copyright 1945 King Features Syndicate published by Dubonnet music publishing New York. Six pages has nice front cover with inset photo of Jimmy Durante surrounded by characters including Flash Gordon, Felix, Blondie & Dagwood, Popeye, Jiggs and others coming out of inkwell. Song was originally written in 1928 by Warren Frisino. Exc. Both items have superb graphics.
