Thin cardboard box has wonderful lid graphics of Little Lulu multi-tasking along with Alvin and Tubby in living room. Lulu is wiping off early floor model console TV set and using sweeper to clean rug which goes over Tubby’s back as he scrubs floor and Alvin lifts up rug. Front and back side panels also feature more wonderful specialty art including Lulu sweeping, Tubby eating peanuts, Alvin washing puppy and more. Box has some surface dust soil, left end of box has extensive problems: corner splits, 3.5" tear at top edge, creases and back side of box has 2x2" missing area. None of these problems affect the colorful graphics on top of lid. Box bottom has a few tears and creases, still tight with original insert. VG. Complete set is unused old store stock and includes metal sweeper with wonderful graphics of Lulu using it with puppy sitting on top of sweeper, metal dust pan, wooden broom, thin plastic apron, and die-cut cardboard boxes with no contents as issued of Lifebuoy soap and Brillo soap pads. Top surface of sweeper has 1x1" area of paint wear w/small area of bare metal showing from contact with handle of dust pan, a few other tiny scratches, but set is otherwise Exc./NM. Great design. Rare.
