Item Description
Packaging is 2.25x4.25x6.75" tall. Ingraham, 1954. Box bottom reads "Howdy Doody Wrist Watch - It's New - It Teaches Time." Slot at top of base holds die-cut cardboard display figure of Howdy as Sheriff. Character portraits on base include Howdy, Clarabell, Princess and Dilly-Dally. Die-cut figure shows fading. VG. Back of base has a few color rubs. Fine. Clear plastic cover has numerous cracks and splits at top and around bottom sides. Still retains shape to slip over base for display. Display holds .75" dia. silver metal luster watch with original red vinyl strap. Dial shows faces of Howdy, Clarabell, Princess and Dilly-Dally at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock hours, 6 o'clock hour having larger Howdy image. Dial has lightly faded, working. Crystal has lightly yellowed. Chrome case is bright. Fine overall.
