Item Description
Item is a .25" thick dark blue woven cord with each of the two strands about 15" long. A metal tip remains in place at one end but is missing from the other end. A pair of clamps on the back of a white metal silver luster frame secures the slide to the cord and allows its movement up and down. The frame is 1.25x1-7/16" and at its center is a very colorful plastic flasher with the name Zorro vertically at the upper left and with "©W.D.P." across the bottom right while at the center is a full figure of Zorro seated on his horse who with movement rapidly rears up and down with front legs and tail in motion and Zorro raises and lowers his sword as his black cape also moves up and down. Center of the piece has a mark about 3/8" wide by .75" tall caused by a dot of glue which holds the flasher into the frame but this does not detract much and is as made. The only example we've seen and one of the most animated flashers we've ever seen. Circa late 1950s.
