Item Description
7/8" with reverse W&H back paper of a design first introduced in 1901and used through 1912. This button was likely used for one of the early Rough Rider Re-union events or for his 1904 Presidential campaign. The left tip of his hat brim has tiny bit of gold overprinting the gray. Essentially Mint as made and extremely rare in this 7/8" size as this design is typically seen in the 1.25" size.
