Item Description
1930s pair. Hand painted 2.75" wide 3" tall painted under glaze ceramic head with design of smiling devil with lower lip extended to place cigarette in mouth for use as ashtray. Made in Japan. A few color rubs with trace of lt. aging. VF. Bright color and nice design. Die cast metal hand painted unit is 3.5" tall overall with nice image of smiling full figure devil looking behind him with corkscrew tail. Also has bottle opener on base. Gold accent color on nose and ears is a bit worn, back of head is missing two tiny flakes. Tiny bit of wear around base edge. VF. Great design.
